Don Mario's Homily during Adoration on September 24th 2000

Don Mario: Praised and Thanked Be every moment, Everybody: The Most Holy and Most Divine Sacrament!

Don Mario: Sweet Heart of my Jesus, Everybody: Make me love You more and more!

Don Mario: Sweet Heart of Mary, Everybody: Be my soul's salvation!

Don Mario: Jesus, I love You! Everybody: Jesus, I love You!

Don Mario: Mary, I love You! Everybody: Mary, I love You!

Don Mario: Let us pray that the Holy Father … who guides … the Barque …

of Peter for two thousand years … a Barque of Peter …

that cannot travel … without a Goal!

And it seems that the Church of Romehas lost the Goal!

The Barque of Peter, or of Rome's Peter … has a Precise Goal:

to go to meet Christ who comes!

If this Church of Peter … loses this Route, it's no longer the Church of Christ!

And Christ comes!

And if someone in the Church has lost the Oil … of the Virgins …

we know what happens! The Virgins fall asleep!

But some were prepared … that can meet the Bridegroom!

Others had no Oil … and when the Bridegroom came,

their plea was useless: “Give us some Oil!

And that Time of the Church of Rome … it's more delicate Time!

It's the Time of Choice … the Time to understand

that the Bridegroom is at the Gates … to light the Lamp!

This Alarming Voice … that cries out: “The Bridegroom is near!

the Pope will have to say it!

Therefore we want to pray to You, Oh Jesus ... here Present,

so that Your Successor in Rome ... cries out: ... The Bridegroom is here!

We … by Your Grace ... that we're near ...

You provided us with Your Oil ... with Your Drops

that not only enlightened us ... but they gave us Mystery upon Mystery!

Grant, Oh Jesus, that the Two Churches ... or the Two Boats

that go towards You, may not be Two Boats

but let it be ... the One Boat, that waits for the Bridegroom ...

and that becomes One Single Church ...

The Bridegroom's Church ...

The Church, that's a Bride, for the Virgin Bridegroom!
